THE SHIPYARDS
The Port of Carrara hosts one of the most 'state of the art' shipyards, for the realisation of ships of a high technological level, which are true jewels in the world's fleet.
With its internal and guest workers, the shipyard builds passenger and ro-ro ships of about 200 metres in lenght, as well high-safety ships for the transportation of chemicals and gases.
